Peachy Summer Biscuitwich
As part of our Palisade Peach Recipe Series, we have another simple yet showstopping creation. This Peach Biscuitwich has it all! It's sweet, savory, tangy, and spicy with a little herby hint to round it all out. If you've never tried grilled peaches with bratwurst, you have to give this one a try! Huge Thanks to our friends @SweetCheeks Organic Peaches for giving us their peaches for our GF recipes. Enjoy!
What you'll need:
1 Pack GoodLove Buttermilk Biscuits
1 Pack GF Bratwurst, You'll need 3 total (we love Boulder Sausage)
1 Ripe Peach
Fresh Rosemary
Tangy Sauce:
2 TBSP Ketchup
1 TBSP Mayo
1 TBSP Jam (we prefer raspberry or strawberry)
1 TSP Hot Sauce (we used Sriracha)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425° for the buttermilk biscuits and bake as directed.
- While your biscuits are getting nice and golden, grill your bratwursts and peach. When grilling your peach, add a little non-stick spray to your grill to make sure it comes off easy.
- Next, prepare your sauce. You'll need to lightly toast 1 fresh rosemary sprig, which helps bring out the natural oils. In a bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients and add about half of the toasted rosemary, cut into smaller pieces.
- When the biscuits are done, it's time to assemble! Simply pull the biscuits apart, no need for a knife. Then spread on a nice spoonful of the sauce on both halves. Trust us, you'll want more than you think!
- Next, slice your bratwursts in half and then slice the halved pieces lengthwise. Slice the juicy grilled peaches into thin slices as well. Add 2 slices of each bratwrusts and peaches to your biscuit bottoms. Before putting on the biscuit top, I like to sprinkle on the last of the toasted rosemary as a pretty garnish.
- That's it! These beauties are ready to devour. They will be a bit messy but that just means their good.
- Enjoy :)
