Peachy Pizza with Ricotta & Bacon

Sweeten up a summer staple by adding juicy Palisade Peaches! This pizza features our GF & Vegan Pizza Crusts and is sweet, salty, cheesy and Oh So Delicious. Give this one a try and have fun with the toppings! Huge Thanks to our friends @SweetCheeks Organic Peaches for giving us their peaches for our Summer Peach Recipe series. Enjoy!

What you'll need:

1 Pack GoodLove Pizza Crusts (includes 2)

Olive Oil

Salt & Pizza Seasoning

Toppings:

2 Palisade Peaches, thinly sliced

Cooked Bacon, roughly chopped

Fresh Mozzarella 

Ricotta Cheese (drained to remove excess moisture)

Sweet Red Peppers

Fresh Basil

Honey

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 475° or up to 500°
  2. Prepare your pizza pan with a drizzle of olive oil and place your frozen crust right on top. Add another drizzle of oil to the outside of the crust, then sprinkle on your salt and pizza seasonings all over.
  3. Next, spread a thin layer of ricotta cheese, followed by fresh mozzarella. 
  4. Then, go crazy with your toppings! Evenly space out the peach slices, sweet red peppers, and chunks of bacon and finally add on your basil. Save a few whole leaves of basil for garnish.
  5. Bake on a lower rack of your oven for 16 to 18 minutes until super bubbly and crispy. I also like to broil the top of the pizza for 2 minutes on HIGH to caramelize the peaches. 
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before devouring! As an added bonus, drizzle on a little honey to bring out the sweetness of the peaches.
  7. Enjoy :)
