Peach Puff Pastry Turnover

It's always a good time for a turnover, in our opinion. And this GF Palisade Peach Turnover is absolutely delicious! Crispy, flaky and sweet, you'll love this day or night time treat. Huge Thanks to our friends @SweetCheeks Organic Peaches for giving us their peaches for our Summer Peach Recipe series. Enjoy!

What you'll need:

1 Pack GoodLove Puff Pastry

2 Palisade Peaches, Sliced Thinly

1 Tbsp Melted Butter

1 Tbsp Sugar

Honey for Drizzling

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°
  2. First, thinly slice your peach and then cut the slices in half.
  3. Next, prepare your defrosted puff pastry sheets by lightly rolling each sheet out with a little GF flour.
  4. Next, slice the puff sheets in half. On two of the pieces of puff, start to layer your peach slices. Make sure to stay within about 1/8 inch from the edge so we can seal on the top. For the top crust, we made little cuts to designed to look like a lattice (without having to do the work:)).
  5. To seal the top crust on the bottom, brush on a little butter on along the edges of the bottom and then set your lattice one on top. Press down with your fingertips first and then use a fork to create the final edge.
  6. Place your turnovers on a parchment lined pan. Brush the tops with the rest of the butter and then sprinkle on the sugar. Bake for 20 minutes until everything is golden and puffy! After cooling, drizzle on just a little honey for added shine and sweetness.
  7. Enjoy :)
