Peach Puff Pastry Roses

If you like treats that are as pretty as they are delicious, then this recipe is for you! All it takes is a pack of our GF Puff Pastry and a fresh, juicy peach. Huge Thanks to our friends @SweetCheeks Organic Peaches for giving us their peaches for our Summer Peach Recipe series. Enjoy!

What you'll need:

1 Pack GoodLove Puff Pastry

1 Palisade Peach, Sliced Thinly

2 Tbsp Melted Butter

2 Tbsp Sugar

Powdered Sugar for Dusting

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°
  2. First, thinly slice your peach and then cut the slices in half.
  3. Next, prepare your defrosted puff pastry sheets. Lightly roll each sheet out with a little GF flour then brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.
  4. Next, slice the puff sheets into 1 inch strips on the short end and get ready to build your roses. Layer on about 5 to 6 pieces of peach, lining up the bottom of the peach slice with the bottom of puff so that the pointy edge is pointing up. Then, roll it up all from one end to the other making a little rose.
  5. Once you have rolled up the mini peach roses, prepare your muffin pan. We used a mini muffin pan and sprayed it with a little non-stick spray first before popping in the mini roses. Lastly, bake for about 20 minutes until the puff pastry is golden and puffy and the peaches have caramelized.
  6. Once done, let cool before removing from the muffin pan. The peaches are sweet enough but for an added bonus, sprinkle on just a little powdered sugar.
  7. Enjoy :)
