Cherry Pie Pastries🍒

What You’ll Need:

• GoodLove Puff Pastry

• 1 Can GF Cherry Pie Filling

• Cream Cheese Filling (cream cheese, vanilla, sugar)

• Egg Wash

• Powdered Sugar

Directions:

1️⃣ Defrost your GoodLove Puff Pastry sheets and turn each one into a different style of pastry!

2️⃣ For a simple danish, cut 1 sheet in half and then use a square cutter or knife to cut a border about 1/2” from the edge. Spoon a little cream cheese filling (optional!) on the to center first, then top with a spoonful of pie filling. Brush egg wash along the exposed edge and sprinkle with a little sugar.

3️⃣ For a fancy, braided danish, roll out 1 puff pastry sheet to double its size. Score a rectangle shape in the center and then cut the outside edges at a diagonal. Then spoon in your cream cheese and pie filling, fold over the edge pieces, and brush with egg wash.

4️⃣ For a turnover style pastry, simple fill one side of the sheet with your filling and then fold in half! Use egg wash to seal the edges and crimp with a fork.

5️⃣ Pre-heat and bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes then turn down your oven to 400 and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden, puffed, and irresistible.

6️⃣ Let cool, then top with icing, more of your cream cheese filling, powered sugar, whip cream … whatever floats your cherry pie boat - enjoy!
